Nubra Valley, located to the northeast of Ladakh Valley, is often referred to as the valley of flowers. It is a popular destination for tourists especially those who look for trekking opportunities. There are also several villages in the valley that are popular spots for tourists to visit. Diskit is well known for its delicious apricots. There is also a monastery in Diskit that is 350 years old. The road that connects Diskit to the village of Hunder is a popular road to take for tourists as they hope to glimpse the Bactrian camels that roam around here. Hunder is home to an ancient monastery with beautiful frescos as well as a statue of Buddha. Panamik is a picturesque little village. In addition to beautiful views, a hot water spring present in the village draws several tourists to visit. Overall, Nubra offers tourists an adventurous holiday while being surrounded by natural beauty.

Tour Plan

Day 01 – Arrive to Leh 

As you land at the Kushok Bakula Airport of Leh, a Globally tour and travels  representative will welcome you and ensure the smooth transfer to your hotel where a scrumptious meal awaits you. Freshen up after you check-in and acclimatize yourself to the altitude and climate in Leh.The evening is booked for a visit to the white-domed Shanti Stupa that sits pretty on a hilltop. This Buddhist structure was built in 1991 by a Japanese Buddhist called Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. After this peaceful experience, we head to a local market where the shoppers' can spend time buying authentic Tibetan handicrafts such as prayer wheels, Stoles, Pashmina Shawls among others.Return to the hotel for a delicious dinner meal and overnight stay.

 

Day 02 :-  Sham Valley

This dedicated to visiting all the famous places of the splendid Sham Valley. After a hearty morning meal at the hotel, we begin our day with the Hall of Fame.A visit to this place is often an overwhelming experience as this place was constructed by the Indian Army to commemorate soldiers who lost their lives during Indo-Pak wars. It brings you up, close and personal with the sacrifices of our soldiers. The next leg of the tour is religiously inclined as we halt at the Kali Mata Mandir followed by famed Buddhist monastery, the Spituk Gompa - an 11th-century structure. The last stop will be the beautiful Gurudwara Patthar Sahib built by the Lamas of Leh to honor Guru Nanak Dev’s visit in 1517. Saving the best for the last, we also allow you to experience the Magnetic Hill. As you recover from the optical illusion where the downhill road actually looks like an uphill road, you'll reach a stunning landscape that will take you to the spot where you can Indus and Zanskar River confluence. The exciting day ends at the hotel with a gorgeous dinner spread and overnight stay. Sleep well to prepare for the fantastic day tomorrow.

 

Day 03 - Through Khardung La to Nubra Valley (Leh-Nubra (125 Km /5-6 Hrs ) via Tour of Khardungla Pass 18832 Ft. Nubra Valley, Hundur & Sand Dunes)

A thrilling day lies ahead of you as we head out today to visit the captivating Nubra Valley via the Khardung La Pass. But before that, gorge on some great dishes served for breakfast at the hotel.Another superlative, the Khardung La is the world's highest motorable road at 18832 feet above sea level. As we drive through this, you witness stunning vistas encompassing snow-capped peaks and majestic mountains. In your notes of new experiences, you might also want to add the drive that we take through the bridge that has been laid on a glacier and also made it to the Guinness Book of World Records. As we reach the Nubra Valley, stunning views of the sand dunes with a vast expanse of green in the background treat your eyes.If you're lucky on that particular day (which most people visiting Ladakh during these days are), you will get a chance to see the Two Hump Bactrian Camels. Spend the rest of the night in the embrace of the beautiful sand dunes camping under the open sky.

 

Day 04 - Greetings from Pangong (Nubra-Pangong via Shayok Valley.(165 km 6-7 Hrs ) only 30 km non-metallic road)

This day frequently make it to the list of people's favorite as we visit one of the most gorgeous location's in Ladakh- the Pangong Tso along with a visit to the Diskit Monastery.The monastery, 515 years old, is situated on a hilltop that allows you breathtaking panoramas of the entire valley. The enormity of the Buddha statue in the monastery will leave you speechless but is the reason for attracting thousands of tourists to this place. Adding to its glory is a small village market in the town of Diskit, which makes for a great place for a leisurely stroll to get a peek into the lives of people in Ladakh.How often do you come across a place that makes you feel that calling it beautiful will be an understatement? With the title of being the world's highest saltwater lake to its credit, the Pangong Lake is mesmerizing, sublime, and magnificent. Soak in the beauty of the lake and its surrounding as we set up for camping under the enchanting sky.This may be the most memorable night of your trip, make the most of it!

 

Day 05 - Leh Calling (150 Km 5-6 Hrs)

Arise to beautiful morning as you witness the sunrise sitting by Pangong. Prepare to drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass that lies at the height of 5486 meters.Bollywood lovers rejoice as we visit the Druk White Lotus, the school Aamir Khan taught at in 3 Idiots. Drive further to reach Leh and spend the rest of the day at leisure.Spend the night at the hotel with a scrumptious dinner meal.

 

Day 06 - Tour of Hemis, Thiksey, Shey Monastery and Sindhu Darshan

If you're not a rafting fan, fret not, we've got a great day planned for you too!We begin our day with the Hemis Monastery, which is the largest and the wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. Next, you visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hill-lock providing awe-inspiring views of the Indus valley. Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall, which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk. Later, we drive through å series of chortens to visit Shey Palace. This was used as a summer palace by the former King of Ladakh.Return to the hotel and enjoy the last dinner meal with your fellow travelers.

 

Day 07 - Time to Say Good (Depart)

It's a wrap today as we head back to the hotel after breakfast to get you a flight back home.Tour Ends.
